[Italy] 80 Master Scholarships Computer Science


Scholarships Computer Science University of Calabria, Italy offers 80 grants to foreign students enrolled in a laurea specialistica (2nd Cycle Degree) a.y. 2011/2012. These grants, consisting in free services by its Residential Centre, include board and lodging during the duration of the course and a intensive course of Italian language and culture (Summer Course)

Scholarships Computer Science a first communication concerning a first group of scholarships will be sent by February 28, 2011 to students whose expressions of interest are received by December 31, 2010. A second communication concerning a second group of scholarships will be sent by May 31, 2011 to students whose expressions of interest are received by March 31, 2011. For the second selection obviously the applications of students who sent the application prior to the first deadline (December 31, 2010) will also be considered.

The Scholarships Computer Science last communication will be sent, as soon as possible, to the students whose expressions of interest are received within the deadlines decided by Diplomatic representations for the pre-registration procedures. Again the applications sent earlier by students to whom grant has not yet been offered will also be considered in this final selection. All foreign students, including those who will be awarded of the scholarship, must follow the pre-registration and registration procedures required by law.

They will also have to accept the scholarship within 20 days since the communication.

Leverhulme Trust Research Project Grant PhD Studentship Scholarships Computer Science

1.Has completed at least 30 hours per week at the University of Manitoba, each faculty or school (bachelor or diploma) or a university.
2.any enrolled in a college or a school or university, completed at least one course (3 points) in the Ukrainian Canadian Heritage Studies;
3.Has reached GPA (minimum 3.0);
4.Enrolls as full-time or part-time in at least one course (3 points) in the Ukrainian Canadian Heritage Studies in the scholarship is in any faculty or school at the University of Manitoba and
5.Best showing interest and promise in the study of the Ukrainian Canadian Heritage Studies, as verified by a combination of a letter of intent by the applicant and a letter of recommendation.


Applicants must submit an application with the following:

1.A brief statement of interest for the study of the Ukrainian Canadian Heritage Studies and the reasons why they are interested in this particular area
2.A current grades
3.A letter of recommendation from a teacher in a post-secondary institution and
4.Plans for courses in 2011-12
At a time when income from the Fund allow two or more scholarships at the discretion of the jury may be offered.
The selection committee is appointed by the Director of the Center for Ukrainian Studies Canada.

It is the ambition of the Department to contribute to reducing the complexity of globalisation for business people, companies, and organisations. Thus the Department of International Culture and Communication Studies (IKK) conducts interdisciplinary research in social, linguistic, and communicative problems as reflected in international collaboration. Based on business humanities and the social sciences IKK applies these theories to problems related to economic, legal, social, and cultural issues. Scholarship Description: This position will be based at the Okanagan campus of UBC, and will begin as soon as possible.
Successful candidates will work on one of two related projects in the area of run-time configurable computing systems. The first project involves architectures and compiler support for the run-time customization of multi-processor systems. It further involves the development of innovative (re-) configurable architectures based on FPGA and course-grained fabrics. The second project relates to the application of reconfigurable systems to various problems in biomedical processing, network security, finance, bioinformatics, or computer-aided design.
The successful candidate must have a strong background in hardware and software design with exposure to one or more of the following areas: advanced digital hardware design, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), computer architecture, software engineering, real-time systems, numerical analysis, algorithm analysis, and convex optimization.

Middlesex University Postgraduate Scholarships, England

Middlesex University is renowned for offering unrivalled support to International students and gives out scholarships and merit awards to International students totaling around £1,000,000 each year.

Middlesex University has a fixed number of International Merit Awards available to all potential postgraduate international students. Awards will be given on a case-by-case basis and successful candidates will have the award amount deducted from their tuition fees when they enroll. Students can apply for these awards through their Regional Office or the International Admissions Office in London. You must apply and receive confirmation of an International Merit Award before the commencement of your studies.

The Alumni bursary is available to all students who completed their first degree at Middle sex and have an offer for a further programme (Note: some programmes are excluded). The bursary provides recipients a 10 per cent reduction in course tuition fees and must be claimed prior to each year of study. There is no application process for the Alumni Bursary and eligibility will be verified at enrollment.

The Academic Alumni Scholarship is awarded on academic merit. It was established to recognise excellent academic achievement and to encourage and assist academically able students to progress to postgraduate study. The scholarship provides recipients a 20 per cent reduction in course tuition fees for every year of academic study.

This scholarship is available to all students who are working towards completing or have acheived their first degree at Middlesex University with First Class Honours, including from study at a partner college. Applicants must go on to enrol upon a course of Postgraduate study within three years of graduating.

The Academic Alumni Scholarship and the Alumni bursary cannot be held in conjunction with any other Middlesex Award or Scholarship. Current Middlesex postgraduate research students who meet the criteria are also eligible to apply. An Alumni Award cash reward may also be considered for postgraduate students who have course funding from other scholarships external to the University at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee.
