Applicants who are selected from among young researchers or teaching assistants / demonstrators at a university or research institute of NAPRECA member countries (Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zimbabwe, DR Congo and Cameroon) or affiliated countries . Postdoctoral Fellowship Scholarships Computer Science in Agro-ecosystem Analysis 2011,


Scholarships Computer Science International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) seeks to recruit a postdoctoral scientist to conduct research on how the integration of water management for the different landscape components (livestock, crops, trees, and human settlement patterns) can lead to benefits for livelihoods and environment in the Nile Basin, Ethiopia. Scholarships Computer Science Depending on the profile of successful candidates for this position will contribute to (i) develop a scenario for how the landscape may evolve and the implications for the productivity of water, health, ecosystems and livelihoods, (ii) to analyze the performance and impact of local learning networks and / or (iii) assess the impact of life and poverty widespread adoption of rainwater management strategies of different positive strategies to support the design. This research will be cross-discipline that involves aspects of livestock production, agronomy, soil science, water management and livelihood analysis.
